Celebrating over 50 years ,

of Food, Fun, Activities, Education and Friendships in Southern Oregon!

We are a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors in concert with membership. The Board contracts the City of Medford Parks, Recreation and Facilities Department to provide Senior Center day to day management and to assist with programming.

The Medford Senior Center provides services for those 50 and older in a supportive, stimulating and caring atmosphere. Coordinated services offer educational programs, social service and assistance referrals and volunteer programs as an opportunity to serve others.

Non-members may participate in some programs for a nominal fee,  referrals and medical check ups are free. Members receive free or reduced rates on activities, special event tickets, exercise classes and they may also check out books and DVD’s from the lending library.

Medford Senior Center needs a volunteer (who has an SUV or a truck with a shell), to pick up our meals from the Lion’s Sight and Hearing building at 4th & Holly St. Our new volunteer would need to pick up the food at around 10 am, Tuesday through Friday, starting in December. The kitchen staff at Holly St. will load the food into your vehicle, and our kitchen volunteers will help unload on our end. Mary Flinn is the current super hero who picks up our meals. If you can help, Mary will hand over her cape and introduce you to the Holly St. kitchen staff before she moves away to start a new chapter next month. For more details, please contact: Joan Kramer: 541-930-2596.

We also need more kitchen volunteers and coffee servers. It’s a great way to make new friends, have some fun, and make a difference! If you can help out for approximately three hours, once a week or more, please let Christine Flores know, or contact
Joan Kramer 541-930-2596.

Can anyone pick up donated bread from Franz bakery at 9:00 am on Tuesday mornings? Please contact Christine Flores,
541- 601-2899 for details.
